Cat trees allow your pet to climb and scratch (and save the furniture). Many breeds of cats like to be up high and the cat tree in the window gives him the opportunity to survey his world from a natural height.
Cats are prone to the same allergies as people. If Kitty is constantly scratching and/or biting at himself, he may have an allergy. Contact allergies generally result in a localized reaction on the skin. The most common causes of allergies in cats would be items they touch, such as flea collars, bedding, toys, etc. The simplest cure is to remove the contact. Click HERE: Stop kitty from Spraying:
Anytime your cat backs himself up to a door or other object in your house, lifts his tail, and releases urine – you have a problem. This problem is known as spraying and is very common with cats kept indoors. You should always do something about spraying the moment it starts – simply because cat urine stinks and leaves stains. Check out "All About Cats" for more information.
Kitties are notorious escape artists. Collars should always be breakaways. If Kitty gets caught by them they will break apart and save him from choking.
